Weekend Inspiration

I love finding new and inspiring things on the Internet.  There is such a wealth of beauty and encouragement.  I am going to begin to share my favorite finds with you each week.  I hope you find them inspiring too!

1. I really love Kari Jobe’s music these days.  My favorite one, We Exalt Your Name, doesn’t have an official video, but this one, Steady My Heart is also really good!

2. Proverbs 31, Week 6 from my friend Angela at Good Morning Girls

A snippet,

“Don’t for a second think that no one sees how you care for your family with the beautiful hands God has given you……He sees all that you do! God sees how you tenderly rock your baby to sleep, He sees how you cook and clean so that your family can have their tummys full and a clean house to live in, He sees how you forgivingly embrace your husband after a disagreement, He sees it all…….and He’s sooo proud of you!”

Make sure you read the rest!

3. An amazing reminder from Ruth at The Better Mom to Live Intentionally, Love Generously, and Laugh Frequently.  I love this!

4. A sweet {free} printable from Mandy at Biblical Homemaking. So cute!

5. This book is what I am reading right now.  Have you read it? It is really good and totally challenging.  What is your anything?

AnythingHow about you? What has inspired you this week?

I joined my first book club over at http://www.athomewithkim.com/ & started reading Made to Crave by Lysa Terkeurst. Made me ponder the thought…do I crave God as much as I crave certain foods? GREAT book so far!

I just recently found your blog- my spouse is undergoing the schooling to fulfill the call God laid on his heart for aviation ministry. This post just had so many parallels that i thought i would share: Kari Jobe i experienced at a womens conference in Dallas TX where she walked away inspired to produce the ‘Shine’ song. It was an amazing weekend where God loved on me so deeply. Marriage- we both just acknowledged that with all the changes swirling around us- that we must keep the standard high to express value and love one another :) I did just read anything by jennie allen and loved the book- devoured it in fact. Hmmm… my anything. I asked God to show me what I am holding back from Him- and i am patiently waiting His reply. Blessings to you as you use your trail to bless others via blogging!

I haven’t read this book, but just the title of it was very inspiring to me. It reminded me something that I need to remember every single day. I am an ordinary human, and I am called on to do extraordinary things. And I couldn’t if it weren’t for Him. And because of Him I am an Extraordinary Woman who can do extraordinary things. But trying to do it all on my own is futile. It is funny how often I forget that.
